SIGIR-AP is the ACM SIGIR Conference on Information Retrieval in the Asia Pacific, created to give the regional IR community a flagship alongside the main SIGIR conference. It covers search, ranking, recommendation, evaluation and the growing overlap between retrieval and large language models. It runs as a hybrid conference and supports remote presentation, which makes it more accessible than most venues for authors who cannot travel. It is not yet ranked by CORE.
