IEEE CLUSTER 2026 is the 28th edition of the IEEE International Conference on Cluster Computing, held in Academic Building One at the Virginia Tech Innovation Campus in Alexandria, Virginia. CLUSTER is a long-standing forum for work on cluster architecture, system software, resource management, storage, and the use of clusters for scientific and commercial workloads, and it runs a co-located workshop programme alongside the main track. The campus is Virginia Tech’s graduate school for computer science in the National Landing district, on the Metro at Potomac Yard and a few minutes from Reagan National Airport. The designated conference hotel is the Embassy Suites at 1900 Diagonal Road in Old Town, across from King Street Metro.
A note on where to stay: the venue is in Alexandria, but Potomac Yard is a new, largely residential district with no hotels of its own. The nearest rooms are 1.1 to 2.0 km north in Arlington’s National Landing and Crystal City, and the next cluster is 3.5 to 4.1 km south in Old Town Alexandria.
