HPDC is the ACM’s symposium on high-performance parallel and distributed computing, sponsored jointly by SIGARCH and SIGHPC. It covers the design and operation of large-scale computing systems: parallel runtimes, storage and I/O, resource management, cloud and edge infrastructure, and increasingly the systems work underneath large-scale machine learning. Alongside SC and IPDPS it is one of the principal venues in the area, and the more systems-oriented of the three.
The 35th edition runs June 5 to 11, 2027 in Atlanta. The venue has not been announced yet, and the submission deadlines have not been published.
Those dates put it inside an exceptionally busy week for Atlanta. FCRC 2027 occupies the same June 5 to 11 window at the Hyatt Regency Atlanta, bringing ISCA, PLDI, STOC, SPAA and SIGMETRICS to one hotel, with e-Energy there too as part of ACM Sustainability Week. Whether HPDC is formally part of that programme has not been stated, but anyone attending should assume Atlanta hotel stock will be under real pressure that week and book early rather than waiting for the venue announcement.
