The ACM Symposium on Principles of Distributed Computing (PODC) is the premier venue for theoretical research in distributed and concurrent computing, covering consensus and agreement, distributed algorithms and lower bounds, fault tolerance, blockchain and distributed ledger theory, and the foundations of concurrent data structures. The 2026 edition takes place July 6-10 at Royal Holloway, University of London, in Egham, Surrey, co-located with the SPAA symposium on parallelism. Royal Holloway is about 20 minutes from London Heathrow and under an hour by rail from central London, making it one of the more travel-convenient academic venues in the London area despite its parkland campus setting.
