ICICT is a broad information and communication technology congress that has run in London since 2015, covering communications, intelligent systems, software, security, e-governance and health informatics. Proceedings are published by Springer Nature in the Lecture Notes in Networks and Systems series and indexed in Scopus, DBLP and EI Compendex.
Only one day of this conference is in London. The physical sessions, including keynotes and the awards ceremony, are on 16 February 2027 at the America Square Conference Centre in the City. The remaining three days, 17 to 19 February, run online over Zoom, so authors can present from anywhere. If you are travelling, book one night rather than four.
Most of our London hotels are the wrong side of the city for this one. They were gathered for conferences at ExCeL in the Docklands, about 7 km east, so ignore those unless you have another reason to be out there. Six of the hotels below sit within 180 m of the America Square Conference Centre, and they cover the whole range: the Leonardo Royal London City and the Novotel London Tower Bridge are the closest, Motel One Tower Hill is the budget pick, the DoubleTree by Hilton and the citizenM are mid-range, and the Four Seasons at Ten Trinity Square is the splurge.
Submission works on fee tiers rather than review rounds, and the organisers are explicit about it: papers submitted after a round closes roll into the next one, with the review route and the publication identical and only the registration fee changing. The early-bird round has closed; the regular round closes on 8 October 2026. No notification date is published, only “as per notification”.
It is worth knowing the scale before submitting. ICICT is not ranked by CORE, and it is a high-volume venue: the 2025 edition filled at least nine separate Springer proceedings volumes, which implies several hundred accepted papers. That may suit you well if the goal is an indexed publication and a London trip, and less well if you need a selective venue on your record. Both are legitimate reasons to attend a conference, but they are different ones.
