Ho Chi Minh City, VietnamSystems Engineering Cybernetics Human-Machine Interaction Computer Science
IEEE SMC is the annual conference of the IEEE Systems, Man, and Cybernetics Society, covering systems science and engineering, human machine systems, and cybernetics. It is ranked B by CORE. The 2027 edition will be held in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, listed on the Society’s own flagship conference calendar, which also places SMC 2028 in Europe or Africa. Dates and the call for papers have not been published. SMC normally meets in early October and opens submissions in the spring, so a 2027 call would be expected around the middle of 2026 at the earliest. Several conference aggregators list specific dates for this edition, but none of those dates appear on the Society’s pages and they are not recorded here.
