HOST, the IEEE International Symposium on Hardware Oriented Security and Trust, is the main venue for research on security at the hardware level: side-channel and fault attacks, hardware trojans, physically unclonable functions, supply chain integrity and trusted architectures. It suits researchers who attack or defend silicon rather than software, and it is more hardware-specific than the general security conferences. The 2027 meeting is the 20th edition, and the symposium runs two submission rounds rather than one. It is not ranked by CORE.
