HOST 2027 is the 20th edition of the IEEE International Symposium on Hardware Oriented Security and Trust, the main venue for research on security at the hardware level: side-channel and fault attacks, hardware trojans, physically unclonable functions, supply chain integrity, and trusted architectures. The symposium runs two submission rounds rather than one. Round 1 closed on 22 July 2026 and Round 2 closes on 8 November 2026, which is the deadline still open. The exact venue in Washington DC has not yet been announced; the 2026 edition was held at the Hilton McLean Tysons Corner just across the river in Virginia.
