SIGCOMM is the flagship annual conference of the ACM Special Interest Group on Data Communication, and the most selective venue in computer networking. It covers network architecture and protocols, data centre and wide-area networking, measurement, wireless systems and the networked infrastructure underneath large distributed services. Acceptance rates here are among the lowest in computer science.
The 41st edition runs August 8 to 12, 2027 at the Queen Sirikit National Convention Center in Bangkok. Submission deadlines have not been published yet.
A word on the venue name, because Bangkok has more than one convention centre and they are several kilometres apart. This is the Queen Sirikit centre in Khlong Toei, beside Benjakitti Park and on the MRT at Queen Sirikit National Convention Centre station, not the Bangkok Convention Centre at CentralWorld in Pathumwan. It is the same venue ICME used in July 2026.
August is the middle of the rainy season in Bangkok, which in practice means heavy but usually short afternoon downpours rather than washed out days, with temperatures around 32C and high humidity throughout. The venue and the MRT connection make that considerably more bearable than it sounds.
