The ACM International Conference on Supercomputing (ICS 2026) is the premier annual venue for research in high-performance computing, running July 6-9, 2026 at the Assembly Buildings Conference Centre in Belfast, Northern Ireland. Organised by Queen’s University Belfast, ICS 2026 brings together systems researchers working on parallel algorithms, HPC architecture, memory hierarchies, compiler optimisation, and large-scale distributed computing. The conference is one of the oldest and most selective venues in the HPC field, with an A ranking in the CORE system, and its papers regularly influence the direction of both academic HPC research and the engineering decisions made in large computing facilities. Belfast is a straightforward destination from most UK and European cities: Belfast International Airport (BFS) is 18 km from the centre and has direct flights from London, Amsterdam, and other major hubs. The Assembly Buildings venue is centrally located, within walking distance of the city’s main hotel cluster and the Cathedral Quarter’s restaurants and bars.
