ICDE 2027 brings the flagship IEEE data engineering conference to Copenhagen, Denmark. The conference covers database systems, data integration, query processing, distributed data management, and emerging topics such as data lakes and AI-driven databases. The 2027 edition runs across two venues a couple of minutes apart at Vesterport: Imperial Bio, a 1,002-seat cinema with the largest single screen in northern Europe, and the Scandic Copenhagen on Vester Søgade. Both sit between the Lakes and Copenhagen Central Station, about a five-minute walk from the station and ten minutes from Tivoli Gardens. The research track runs two submission rounds rather than one: Round 1 closed on 11 June 2026, and Round 2 closes on 11 November 2026 with notifications on 10 February 2027. Copenhagen Airport is 15 minutes from the centre by metro, with frequent transatlantic and intra-European connections.
