Theory Algorithms Logic
ICALP is the main annual conference of the European Association for Theoretical Computer Science, and the principal European counterpart to STOC and FOCS. It runs two tracks: Track A covers algorithms, complexity and games, and Track B covers automata, logic, semantics and the theory of programming. It suits researchers whose work is foundational rather than applied, and the two-track structure means a paper is read by the community it belongs to rather than by a general theory audience. Track B operates a two-round submission cycle while Track A has a single round, so the two tracks do not share a deadline. Ranked A* by CORE.
