CADE, the International Conference on Automated Deduction, is the main venue for research on automated theorem proving, covering proof search, saturation and superposition calculi, SMT and SAT-based reasoning, higher-order and inductive proving, and the engineering of the provers themselves. It suits researchers whose contribution is a calculus, a proving technique or a competitive implementation, and the associated system competitions give tool work a visible measure. Ranked A by CORE. CADE runs in odd years and alternates with IJCAR in even years, so each name meets biennially while the community meets annually. The 2027 edition is held jointly with FSCD, sharing workshops and a venue, which makes one trip cover both automated deduction and the formal structures behind it.
