The ACM SIGIR Conference on Human Information Interaction and Retrieval (CHIIR) focuses on the human side of information access, covering search behaviour, interactive information retrieval, user studies, and the design and evaluation of systems that help people find and make sense of information. The 2027 edition is hosted by Humboldt-Universitaet zu Berlin from 7 to 11 March 2027. Submission tracks include full and perspective papers, short papers, demos, design, resource and industry papers, and a doctoral consortium, alongside tutorials and workshops.
