WiSense investigates wireless sensing—using changes in wireless signals caused by objects and humans to infer position and movement—and its deployment on edge devices. Wireless sensing provides unobtrusive sensing without physical sensors and can work in non‑line‑of‑sight scenarios with signals like Wi‑Fi, RFID and UWB. The workshop addresses the challenges of running wireless sensing and machine‑learning algorithms on resource‑constrained edge devices and explores applications such as localization, activity recognition and health monitoring.
