PerRad fosters interdisciplinary research on handheld and tiny radars (e.g., mmWave, UWB) for ambient intelligence, human-centric sensing and environment monitoring. The workshop addresses technical challenges in deploying radars in pervasive scenarios, including operation in multipath and non-line-of-sight conditions, energy efficiency, multi-modal data fusion, privacy/security issues and standardization. It aims to discuss advances in signal processing, adaptive beamforming, context-aware radar operation and integration into smart environments
