Covers the design and assurance of trustworthy computing and network infrastructures. Concerns infrastructure that other systems depend on, where failure propagates rather than staying local. Topics include designing for verifiable trustworthiness and assuring network and computing infrastructure that cannot simply be taken offline for testing. Assurance has to be continuous rather than a one-off certification, because the infrastructure and its threat environment both keep changing.
