Cyber-Physical Security for Critical Infrastructures

CPS4CIP: 7th International Workshop on Cyber-Physical Security for Critical Infrastructures

In conjunction with
European Symposium on Research in Computer Security 2026
September 14-18, 2026
Sapienza University of Rome
Rome, Italy

Cybersecurity Privacy Cryptography Security Research

Covers protecting critical infrastructure such as energy, water, and transport from cyber-physical attacks. Critical infrastructure combines old equipment with long replacement cycles and consequences that are physical rather than informational. Topics span energy, water and transport, with an emphasis on what can be defended without replacing the plant. Consequences are physical, so availability usually outranks confidentiality here, inverting the priorities of most IT security work.
