VLDB is one of the most prestigious annual international conferences in data management and database systems research, published through PVLDB, its associated scholarly journal with monthly submissions and rapid reviews. The conference brings together researchers, system builders, vendors, and practitioners to advance work spanning database engines, distributed systems, query optimization, data mining and analytics, machine learning and AI integration, data privacy, and information integration. Attendees include academic researchers from top universities and engineers from major technology companies and data platform vendors, making it a rare venue where fundamental research and industry-scale systems challenges appear side by side. Unlike most conferences, VLDB accepts papers on a rolling monthly basis through PVLDB, so researchers can submit year-round rather than racing a single annual deadline.
