UMAP is the ACM conference on user modelling, adaptation and personalization, jointly sponsored by SIGCHI and SIGWEB. It covers recommender systems, adaptive interfaces, personalised learning and health systems, user profiling, and increasingly the fairness and transparency questions that follow from all of them. It is the natural home for personalization work evaluated with users rather than only offline. Its tracks are staggered across several months, and the workshop and tutorial deadline falls well before the paper deadline, so running a workshop is a decision made before a paper is written.
