The ACM/IEEE Symposium on Edge Computing (SEC) is the flagship conference for research on computing at the network edge - systems and infrastructure that process data closer to users, devices, and sensors rather than in centralised cloud data centres. The programme covers edge infrastructure design, latency-sensitive applications, edge-cloud coordination, resource management, security and privacy at the edge, machine learning inference on edge hardware, and real-world deployments across autonomous vehicles, industrial IoT, smart cities, and AR/VR. SEC 2026 is the eleventh edition of the conference, held in San Jose, California.
