Real World Crypto is the IACR’s bridge between cryptographic research and the people shipping cryptography in production. Talks cover protocol deployments at scale, the post-quantum migration, attacks found in real systems, and the standards work behind them, with an audience that mixes academics with engineers from browser, messaging and payments teams.
It works differently from the IACR’s other conferences and the difference matters if you are planning a submission. There are no proceedings and no papers. You submit a proposal for a contributed talk, not a manuscript, so work already published elsewhere is welcome and so is engineering work that would never suit a paper venue. That also means no CORE ranking applies.
RWC 2027 runs April 5 to 7 in Seattle. Talk proposals close October 15, 2026 with notifications on December 10, 2026. The venue has not been announced.
