ACM SIGCHI Conference on Computer-Supported Cooperative Work & Social Computing — 2027
October 16-20, 2027
Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, United StatesAI Social Computing HCI
CSCW is the ACM SIGCHI conference on computer-supported cooperative work and social computing, covering collaborative systems, online communities, social media, crowdsourcing and the social and organisational side of computing. It suits researchers studying how people coordinate through technology rather than the interfaces themselves, and it is unusually receptive to qualitative, ethnographic and mixed-methods work that struggles at more systems-oriented venues. Ranked A by CORE. CSCW has no annual submission deadline: papers are published in the Proceedings of the ACM on Human-Computer Interaction and submitted continuously, and those accepted early enough to fit the programme are invited to present at that year’s conference.
