The International Cryptology Conference (CRYPTO) is the flagship North American venue of the International Association for Cryptologic Research (IACR), one of the four top-tier crypto conferences alongside EUROCRYPT, ASIACRYPT, and TCC. A*-ranked, CRYPTO covers public-key and symmetric cryptography, cryptographic protocols, post-quantum security, multiparty computation, zero-knowledge proofs, and the theoretical foundations of cryptographic schemes. The 46th edition takes place August 17-20, 2026, at the University of California, Santa Barbara, the conference’s traditional home. Affiliated workshops run August 15-16. Santa Barbara is served by Santa Barbara Municipal Airport (SBA) with connections via LAX and SFO; many attendees fly into LAX and drive the 2-hour scenic Highway 101 route.
