The Conference on Language Modeling (COLM) is a focused research venue for scientific work on language models and their applications, including pre-training, fine-tuning, alignment, evaluation methodology, interpretability, and the societal implications of deploying large language models. Founded to provide a dedicated forum for LLM research beyond the broader ML venues, COLM runs as a single-track conference to maximize cross-paper engagement across the field.
