EACL - the European Chapter of the Association for Computational Linguistics - is the flagship NLP conference for European researchers, covering machine translation, large language models, multilingual and low-resource NLP, computational semantics, discourse, and information extraction. It is an A-ranked CORE venue and part of the ACL anthology of conferences alongside ACL, EMNLP, and NAACL.
EACL 2027 marks the 20th edition of the conference, held in Athens, Greece, March 9-14. The conference operates through ACL Rolling Review, with multiple submission windows across the year feeding into the final program.
