CARS, the IEEE Cyber Awareness and Research Symposium, is an IEEE-sponsored and NSA CAE-R forum for research in cybersecurity, cyber awareness, critical infrastructure protection and the security of autonomous and connected systems. It runs full and short research papers published through IEEE alongside a Cyber Resilience Summit, a career expo and a capture-the-flag competition, and is offered in hybrid format. The mix suits early-career researchers and students who want a publication, a competition and recruiting contact from one event. It is not CORE-ranked.
