Black Hat USA 2026 is the 29th annual edition of the conference, held at the Mandalay Bay Convention Center in Las Vegas. It splits into two halves: Trainings from 1 to 4 August, which are paid multi-day hands-on courses, and the Briefings on 5 and 6 August, which are the peer-reviewed talks the conference is known for. The 2026 programme carries over 100 briefings, more than 100 trainings, over 80 Arsenal tool demos and a day of summits on 4 August covering healthcare, CISO, AI, financial threat and investor tracks. Announced themes this year lean heavily on AI offence and defence, supply chain security, and AI-driven exploitation of hardware and embedded systems. Black Hat runs immediately before DEF CON, which starts on 6 August a few miles up the Strip, and most attendees treat the two as a single week.
