The IEEE/ACM International Conference on Automated Software Engineering (ASE) is one of the two flagship venues for software engineering research alongside ICSE, A*-ranked, covering automated program analysis, test generation and execution, software repair, AI-driven software engineering, and the application of formal methods and machine learning to the software development lifecycle. The 41st ASE takes place October 12-16, 2026, in Munich, Germany. Munich is a major European technology hub, home to BMW, Siemens, and a large software engineering research community across TU Munich and LMU. Munich Airport is one of Europe’s busier hubs with direct connections across Europe, North America, and Asia, reaching the city center in about 40 minutes by S-Bahn.
