Dedicated to vector database systems, similarity search, and embedding-based data management. Vector databases went from niche to infrastructure in a very short time on the back of retrieval-augmented generation. The research questions are catching up: index structures, filtered search, updates and recall guarantees at scale. Filtering combined with similarity search is the specific case where naive implementations degrade badly at scale.
