PyData Global is the flagship annual conference of the PyData community, organized by NumFOCUS, the nonprofit that supports open-source scientific computing in Python. The conference brings together data scientists, engineers, and researchers to share best practices and emerging techniques across the Python data stack including pandas, NumPy, scikit-learn, PyTorch, JAX, Polars, Dask, and the broader open-source data tooling ecosystem. Sessions cover data wrangling, visualization, machine learning, MLOps, large-scale data processing, and the application of AI to scientific computing. PyData Global 2026 runs December 8-10; location and venue have not yet been announced. Past editions have been held as hybrid events with both in-person and online components.
