ACM International Conference on Mobile Human-Computer Interaction (MobileHCI) — 2027

MobileHCI is the ACM’s conference on human-computer interaction with mobile devices and services, covering interaction techniques for phones and wearables, mobile user experience, context-aware and on-the-move interaction, and the field studies that go with them. It sits in the SIGCHI family alongside CHI and UIST and is the main venue for work where mobility itself is the research problem.

The 2027 edition runs September 20 to 23 at the St. Raphael Resort & Marina in Limassol, the same resort ISSRE used in 2026.

Plan to stay at the venue. The resort sits on the coast about 12 km east of central Limassol, and there is very little beside it, so this is a conference where the venue hotel is the practical choice rather than merely the convenient one. Of the Limassol hotels listed below, the nearest alternative is around 3 km away on the same coastal strip, and the town-centre options are 11 to 12 km out. Larnaca airport is the closer of the two international arrivals.

One warning about the published dates. The conference site lists the camera-ready deadline as June 15, 2027 but the final notification as June 17, which would have authors submitting final copy two days before being told the outcome. One of the two is evidently wrong. Abstracts are due February 10 and papers February 17, with first notification on April 15 and revised submissions on May 13, and those dates are consistent; confirm the June pair with the chairs before relying on either. Early-bird registration closes August 20, 2027.
