ICASSP - the IEEE International Conference on Acoustics, Speech and Signal Processing - is the premier annual venue for the signal processing research community. It covers acoustics, speech and language technology, audio engineering, image and video processing, sensor arrays, and the growing intersection of machine learning with signal processing. ICASSP is one of the largest technical conferences in electrical engineering and applied ML, consistently drawing 3,000-5,000 attendees from academia and industry.
The 2027 edition is held at the Metro Toronto Convention Centre from May 16-21. Toronto is one of the best-connected cities in North America for international travel, with Pearson International Airport (YYZ) serving direct routes from Europe, Asia, the US, and Latin America. The MTCC sits in the downtown core, steps from Union Station and walking distance from a large cluster of hotels along Front Street and in the financial district. May is an excellent time to visit Toronto - spring weather, no summer humidity yet, and the city’s food and waterfront scene fully active.
The paper submission deadline is September 16, 2026, with acceptance notifications on January 13, 2027. Final papers are due January 27, 2027.
