HCOMP, the Conference on Human Computation and Crowdsourcing, is the premier venue for research at the intersection of human and machine intelligence, covering crowdsourcing systems, human-in-the-loop machine learning, data annotation and quality, collective intelligence, and the human infrastructure behind modern AI systems. It suits researchers who treat the people in the loop as a first-class part of the system rather than a data source, which is increasingly central as model training depends on annotation labour. Historically AAAI-sponsored, it has also run as an ACM conference co-located with Collective Intelligence. Ranked B by CORE.
