The Conference on Human Computation and Crowdsourcing (HCOMP) is the premier venue for research at the intersection of human and machine intelligence, covering crowdsourcing systems, human-in-the-loop machine learning, data annotation and quality, collective intelligence, and the human infrastructure behind modern AI systems. Historically AAAI-sponsored, the 2026 edition is organized as an ACM conference and is co-located with the ACM Collective Intelligence conference. It takes place September 27-30, 2026, at the Virginia Tech Innovation Campus in the Washington, DC metropolitan area in Northern Virginia. The campus is accessible from Washington’s two main airports (Reagan National DCA, about 15 minutes; Dulles IAD, about 40 minutes) and the Washington Metro network.
