Exhibition and congress complex inside the Fortezza da Basso, a fortress begun in 1534 for Alessandro de’ Medici on the northern edge of central Florence. The ramparts and bastions survive around a set of modern halls, and the site is run by Firenze Fiera. It is about ten minutes’ walk from Santa Maria Novella station and hosts IROS 2027.
