The Auditorium Parco della Musica, renamed in honour of composer Ennio Morricone, is a large performing arts and conference complex designed by Renzo Piano, opened in 2002. The complex contains three main concert halls and extensive event spaces set around an open-air amphitheatre in the Flaminio district of northern Rome, about 3 kilometres from the historic centre.
