The International Conference on 3D Web Technology, commonly known as Web3D, is the leading venue for research on interactive 3D graphics and immersive technologies delivered through the open web. It covers web 3D standards such as X3D and glTF, real time rendering, WebXR and spatial interaction, digital twins, scalable 3D systems, and immersive learning and simulation environments that run across browsers and devices. Now marking 31 years of conferences, Web3D brings together contributors from the computer graphics, human computer interaction, virtual reality, and web systems communities to advance interoperable, open 3D on the web.

The 2026 edition takes place in Doha, Qatar. In response to the travel challenges facing many authors and attendees, Web3D 2026 will run as a hybrid conference. All sessions, presentations, and keynotes will be accessible both on site in Doha and online, paper authors may present either in person or remotely, and networking will be available through both physical and virtual platforms. The Call for Papers deadline is June 1, 2026.

Doha is served by Hamad International Airport, a major long haul hub with direct Qatar Airways connections across Europe, Asia, Africa, and the Americas. The city combines established cultural institutions such as the Museum of Islamic Art and Katara Cultural Village with a fast growing university and research district.
