ISCA - the International Symposium on Computer Architecture - is the premier annual venue for computer architecture research, jointly sponsored by ACM SIGARCH and IEEE TCCA and consistently ranked A* by CORE. The 53rd edition comes to Raleigh, North Carolina, at the Raleigh Convention Center in downtown Raleigh from June 27 to July 1, 2026.
ISCA covers the full breadth of hardware systems research: processor microarchitecture, memory hierarchy design, interconnects, storage systems, hardware accelerators for machine learning and scientific computing, and the hardware-software interface that shapes how systems are programmed and optimised. The conference draws researchers from both academia and industry, with strong representation from the major semiconductor companies, hyperscalers, and university architecture groups worldwide.
Raleigh sits at the centre of the Research Triangle, alongside Durham and Chapel Hill, with NC State, Duke, and UNC all nearby. The convention center is directly connected to the Raleigh Marriott City Center via skybridge and is within walking distance of several other downtown hotels, restaurants along Fayetteville Street, and the North Carolina Museum of Natural Sciences. Raleigh-Durham International Airport (RDU) is approximately 20 minutes from downtown and has direct service to most major US cities.
