ICLR, the International Conference on Learning Representations, is one of the three flagship machine learning conferences alongside NeurIPS and ICML, and is known for its open review process, in which submissions and reviews are public throughout the decision period. It covers deep learning architectures, representation learning, optimisation, generative models, and increasingly the evaluation and alignment of large models.

The 2027 edition is the fifteenth. The location has not been announced yet. Dates and deadlines are confirmed on the official site: the main conference runs April 26 to 28 with workshops from April 28 to 30, abstracts are due September 18, 2026 and full papers September 25, 2026, both anywhere on earth. Reviews are released November 5, the author and reviewer discussion period runs to November 18, and final decisions are announced December 16, 2026.

Be careful with third-party listings for this one. Several conference aggregators currently state a 2027 host city, and they do not agree with each other or with ICLR. Treat the official site as the only source until an announcement is made.
