Yokohama Japan
Yokohama is Japan’s second-largest city and sits on the western shore of Tokyo Bay, about 30 minutes by train from central Tokyo. The Minato Mirai waterfront district is the centre of the city’s modern identity - clean, walkable, and lined with hotels, restaurants, and exhibition facilities including PACIFICO Yokohama. For international visitors, Yokohama is easy to navigate: English signage is widespread, the transport connections to Tokyo and Narita/Haneda airports are straightforward, and the city has a long international history dating to its role as one of Japan’s first open ports. Chinatown is one of the largest in Asia and worth a visit for dinner. The conference district is compact and well-served by the Minatomirai Line.
